George V. Corbitt, D.M.D.

Dr. George V. Corbitt attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for his pre-dental studies and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1987. After practicing general dentistry for two years, he completed his certification in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1992 and an elective clinical orthodontics internship at the Royal Dental College in Aarhus, Denmark. Dr. Corbitt was formerly an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the Medical College of Georgia before opening his private practice in Cumming, Georgia. He is member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Georgia Dental Association.

Dr. Corbitt was raised in the Atlanta area and resides in Cumming with his wife, Frances, and their three children: Alex, Andrew and Rachel.

He believes in treating every patient as if they were himself or one of his children.
